Cove Residents for Reconciliation
Welcome to the web page of Lane Cove Residents for
Reconciliation. Lane Cove, on Sydney's Lower North Shore, lies within the
Traditional Country of the Cameraygal People.
Lane Cove Residents for Reconciliation (LCRR) is a voluntary,
Local Reconciliation Group of Indigenous and non-Indigenous people working
together to raise awareness of the issues involved in the process of
Reconciliation at local, state and national levels, consistent with the national
'Corroboree 2000' Vision Statement:
"A united Australia which respects this land of ours; values
the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage; and provides justice and
equity for all."

Documentary Film Screening: 'Lest We
Forget' |
Indigenous veterans have served in every theatre of war and peacekeeping
missions in which Australia has been involved since 1899 - 1902 Boer War. View a
short documentary film and hear guest speakers from the NSW Aboriginal and
Torres Strait Islander Veterans and Service Association. Speakers include Robert
Noble, David Williams, Harry Allie and Roy Mundine. This is a public meeting.
